CFPS SafetyScan Annual (DOT) Inspection
Commercial Fleet Performance Systems' primary inspection is the SafetyScan Annual inspection. The SafetyScan Annual (DOT) inspection covers all the inspection elements required for the annual DOT Appendix G inspection, and adds the following elements:

CVSA-trained certified inspectors performing the inspections

Comprehensive check of the anti-lock braking system; measurements of brake lining, tire tread and brake stroke (all values recorded by the inspector); horn check

Full visual inspection of all hoses and lines (for chafing), glad hands, LED lights, power steering components, hub seals, emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, emergency triangles, reflective tape)
Just as important, SafetyScan records all the measurements taken by SafetyScan inspectors in DEKRA's DMS. It provides a full inspection report for each vehicle inspected with Out Of Service and fleet failure items prominently called out, and with advisory messages relating to components approaching minimum acceptable standards for those components. Finally, each passed vehicle receives a SafetyScan Annual windshield decal, and valid for 90 days, to alert state roadside inspectors that the vehicle has met and passed Appendix G inspection requirements.
