With Commercial Fleet Performance Systems' incredibly powerful data management system, you won't have to imagine it-it's here, and it's part of the SafetyScan package. The SafetyScan data management system (or DMS), collects the data from every inspection our inspectors perform, and stores that information in your fleet's data base. It's available to you (and anyone else in your organization you authorize) via a secure, password-protected web portal for review any time of the day or night. Think how a tool like this could help your maintenance division make better purchasing decisions (including what parts to buy for your fleet, and preventive maintenance steps you could take to avoid breakdowns and accidents, before they occur).
The Safety Scan DMS does more than simply hold your inspection data. Once the inspection data is entered from the field and uploaded to the central system, SafetyScan's DMS enables real-time reporting, providing a virtually immediate view of your fleet inspections wherever they are taking place that day.
In addition to inspection data, repair data can also be entered, to provide you with a complete, up-to-date, and accurate maintenance and repair record for each vehicle. This capability gives you the ability to view trend analyses on driver performance, and equipment and component durability. For quality assurance purposes, the data in the DMS is routinely and automatically checked for anomalies, logic faults and questionable results, using algorithms DEKRA has developed to ensure inspection integrity. This process occurs after the vehicle inspection results are uploaded and prior to "acceptance" by the DMS.
